Spinach moves to London’s dynamic Hackney
Spinach has moved! We are very excited to announce our brand new bright and spacious studio in the former Burberry textile factory on Chatham Place in the heart of vibrant Hackney, east London. We now have our own photographic studio on-site where we shoot bespoke work for our clients.
Spinach joins other creative firms and design studios – British menswear designer Christopher Ræburn resides above us, and Conran, Burberry, Anya Hindmarch, Aquascutum, Joseph and Pringle share the same block.
The Textile Building forms part of the impressive £100 million Hackney Fashion Hub scheme designed by leading architect David Adjaye and funded by the Manhattan Loft Corporation and Chatham Works. It comprises 6,250 square metres of retail space, a pedestrian area with cafés, free business advice for fashion start-ups, and subsidised design studios for up-and-coming local designers.
Once completed later this year, there will be 12 retail units to include a restaurant and cocktail bar by Broadway Market manager Alistair Maddox, and an eaterie from chef Magnus Reid of Cream in Shoreditch.
