Crafting Cullinan by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is about to release its first ever SUV. Cullinan – named after the 3,106-carat flawless diamond found in South African in 1905 – is a hugely significant product for a marque. After all Rolls-Royce is at the very pinnacle of luxurious motoring, and the upcoming SUV promises to be the most grand of all off-roaders.
As a lead up to the reveal, and to coincide with London Craft Week, Roll-Royce is presenting Crafting Cullinan, an exhibition by Cat Garcia capturing the art of crafting the car. Through her lens, the portrait photographer takes us on a journey behind the scene to to witness the passion and dedication of the men and women who help create Rolls-Royce motor cars.
This is a seductive brand narrative and one that is unique to only a few carmakers. Rolls-Royce has a genuine interest in making, meaning, craft and history. Each vehicle designed, engineered and made in Goodwood will go through an incredible amount of hand-craftsmanship by the highly-skilled artisans who work here. Crafting Cullinan will be on show at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Mayfair, London on 8 and 9 May 2018.
