Refreshing the City bar chain’s online presence with a more responsive and accessible website.
Our website design and build for C&B Bars was the final piece of an extensive brand development we undertook for the bar group.
Bringing together the visual (typography, colour palette) and verbal (tone of voice, messaging) elements we developed in partnership with C&B Bars, the website is a true extension of the brand online.
Featuring food and drink photography art directed by us and shot by renowned food/lifestyle photographer Helen Cathcart, the website allows C&B Bars to express its difference among the many operators in the City.
With 10 bars dotted across the Square Mile, each with its own look, feel and personality, our aim was to create an overarching brand website that showcased the best elements of all – namely the new food menu, exceptional wines by Corney & Barrow Wine Merchants and regular brand events.
Making it responsive across all devices was a no brainer, allowing users to research bars, menus and book with minimal hassle wherever they access the website.
We made the backend equally hospitable for the C&B Bars team, allowing for easy updates to the events, menus and jobs page.
