The Cavendish is a refined drinking and dining establishment located in the heart of Marylebone.
We were commissioned from the outset to create their restaurant brand identity and roll it out across signage and premium leather-bound menus in time for launch.
Taking inspiration from the ornate ironwork lining the streets of Marylebone, we set about designing a logo and developing a visual brand identity that would reflect the traditional style yet contemporary leanings of the venue.
We blended art nouveau flourish with geometric art deco shapes on the ‘crest’. Then chose a solid, authoritative font to do the talking on the logotype.
The result is a timeless visual marker for The Cavendish that looks established. Better still, establishment. It also slots nicely into the refined bar, restaurant and retail landscape of the well-heeled district that surrounds it.
